House: You sure you want to know? If it makes it any easier, I’m going to tell you anyway.

Whitney: We want to know.[House looks at the chart, saying nothing]

Geoff: What does it say?

House: Don’t leave. [He leaves, looking serious]

[House comes back]

Geoff: Been waiting here for six hours. Am I the father or not?

House: No. But, she also didn’t cheat on you. Normally, sperm meets egg, DNA meets DNA, goes back to her place. Cells divide. Nine months later, joy is bundled. That’s normally. Abnormally, an egg could have two naturally occurring gene mutations that don’t naturally occur together. Spontaneous calcium spike could prep the egg for fertilization without sperm and a division mistake could let the egg split up without ever needing male DNA at all. Parthenogenesis. A baby without a daddy. In humans it’s only ever been theorized, but it was never proved. Until now. Mommy, baby. Your daughter has only maternal DNA. I personally checked this five times. In seven months you will have… a virgin birth. [Geoff is overcome] Merry Christmas.

I love Sundays.
I would spend my Sunday afternoons curled up in my comfortable IKEA quilt with a good book.
Or a magazine.
Or a phone call to a certain boy that'll last for hours.
I love Sundays.

Merry Christmas everybody (:
-
I'm sure everyone has opened their presents by now.
Stuffed themselves silly with chocolate pudding, devoured a turkey, got flushed on port and played with Christmas crackers till their ears cannot stop ringing.
No?
Only me then.
Has anyone 'accidentally' and 'coincidentally' gotten lucky under a certain mistletoe?
Not me :(
Don't worry, who needs Christmas for that?

So the night we've been waiting for had finally arrived; high school prom.
It was an unforgettable night, filled with
extreme insufficient funds;
(almost) wardrobe malfunctions;
walking around in 4.5 inched stilettoes,

having the time of our lives.
-
As you can see, I'm the least dressed up.
Refused to wear any of those normal sparkly bejewelled long gowns.
So not my thing.
So I just opted for a simple LBD, and paired it with super hot red lipstick.

Even Ian's shoes were more dressed up than I was.
They had tiny ties.
-
-
Mallini looks so pretty here. You were working the peacock color, girrrl ;]
- This girl has stuck by me through thick and thin.
I love you blondeh.
-
-
-

Nabilaaaaa; have known her ever since we were wearing tiny dark blue primary uniforms. She shifted to boarding school in Form 1. Haven't seen her since until prom. She's still so tinyyyyy.

-

"I like you alot lot, think your really hot, hot."
-
-
Ashqinn; We doodle Mexican men during Chemistry lessons and run around school during Sejarah. My last years of high school would be a drag without her.
-
-
Lauren; my fellow flipfler founder *inside thing*
-
-

Kimberly; the Japanese-fied fanatic.
-
-Michael; the angel of the bunch
-
--
-
In the middle of it, Mark and I got restless and started making faces for the camera.
-
-
-
The notorius three;
What would I do without you guys?

Let me tell you what it’s really about. High School Musical is about this group of boys who are all being molested by the basketball coach, who is Zac Efron’s dad. It’s about them struggling to cope with this molestation. And they have these little girlfriends, who are their beards. Oh, and somehow there’s music involved.Megan Fox

i walked for 14 hours yesterday trying to look for a dress to wear for prom.
my feet were aching so badddddd.
good news is i found a dress, but it's really simple one.
nothing fancy and long with beads and sparkles and bows.
because i don't do beads,sparkles and bows.
i'm not much of a girly girl as you can tell.
i just hope i pull the look off on the 17th.
cross my fingers.

Saturday, November 14, 2009

My grandfather's funeral was this morning.
I didn't attend.
The funeral was far,far away.
Across the South China Sea.
In the Philippine islands.
-
I did not attend because my SPM was 10 days away the day he passed away.
I was already on the verge of an emotional breakdown before it.
When my mother told me about what happened, I was shocked.
I was very sad. But I wasn't upset because he passed away.
But I was sad because I never got to know him.
So I went to my room and lied down on the floor, staring into the ceiling.
I do that sometimes to clear my head.
-
I wanted to for the funeral.
I was planning to.
-
My mother told me she didn't want to stress me out.
So she said I could just forego it.
-
So I did.
Cause I knew if I went, I would be so disoriented in a foreign country;
completely forget what was going on here;
get upset when I saw my aunties and grandmother and cousins cry for the first time;
and just BE in that emotionally stressful environment.
-
So I did,
not go.
-
My mother flew off on Monday night and my father left on Tuesday night.
I've been alone, all week in this house.
Not exactly how I'd expect to experience my first week alone in this house.
Not exactly how I'd expect to spend the last 10 days before SPM starts.
-
I've kept my guard up as much as I could,
to not get upset because of this unfortunate event;
and to not get distracted.
-
But I'll admit, I did crack many times.
-
Mark surprised me yesterday on my doorstep with bunkus-ed maggi goreng.
That cheered me up.
I really needed that.
Thank you (:

So here's to you Dr. Reynaldo Roman,
I'll always regret the fact I never got to know you,
but I want to thank you for raising this colorful bunch of people I call my aunties, uncle and mother.

Goodbye Lolo.

"I just met this 5 foot 7 guy who’s just my type.
I like the way he’s speaking;
his confidence is peaking.
Don’t like his baggy jeans but I'mma like what’s underneath it."

Happy Halloween!
-
Sucks we don't celebrate it here.
Could really use the candy now :(
Last year my friends and I were planning a Halloween party so we could all dress up.
Yeah, that never worked out.
I was gonna dress up as a dude :p
-
Apparently Katy Perry and I think alike.

-
My next choice was Cleopatra cause she is the first sex symbol in world history.
Anne Hathaway looks so pretty here.

-
The Tyra Banks costume,
so mean laaaaaaaaa.
-
-
Kim Kardashian as Wonder Woman,
though she looks more like a man here.

-
-
It's Cousin It from the Addam's Family!

-
-
The King and Queen of Halloween is Heidi Klum and Seal, hands down.
They come up with the wackiest, most original costumes.
My favourite was Eve and the apple+serpent
And yes, that is Seal in a blonde wig.

Don't know when this is dated but Heidi dressed up as a Hindu god.
The same god they featured in Slumdog Millionaire.
Not sure the name of the Hindu god though.

I wonder which pair of hands are really hers.

So tell me, what would YOUR costume be?

15th October,

Happy SEXXIIII Seventeenth Sulekha Camille Sivapatham (:

I love you best friend,
you've been there for me since the start till now.
From our little La Salle boy phase in Form 1 to
our horrendous perfume making project in Form 2 to
our 4q inside joke in Form 3
and not forgetting our escapade to you knowwhere with youknowwho during you knowwhen.
It's been 4 years and here's to another 40 more. <3

When we were 13,

4 years later,

We had lunch at Picadilly's after school. God I love that place. The food is good and cheap too (: And the menu is BIG and LONG remember? *inside joke* I remember the whole lot started laughing at me when I said that. Didn't realize how sick it sounded after UNTIL I said it out loud.

After lunch, I had to rush home and get read for Sean's secret surprise party in Jaya One. I'm so busy, everybody wants me. 2 birthday plans in 1 day.

Tasha, Tanisha, Kim and I were waiting at the restaurant alone while the boys went to get the birthday boy. The funny thing was, Sean ended up going to the restaurant BEFORE the boys found him. The girls and I panicked cause he wasn't supposed to know any of us were there. Tasha and Kim ducked under the table and I hid my head with the menu, Tanisha -thank god- covered the cake and ran out to save the situation and not blow the cover.

And the surprise wasn't ruined! (:

Don't you just LOVE the SEXY cake? :P

Since your birthday is only tomorrow, I'm gonna wish you in advance just in case I don't get to blog tmrw.

HAPPY SEXIIII SEVENTEENTH SEAN BYRON GOMES (:

Sorry, the only SOLO picture I have of you is this (:

The time we all went to watch Twilight and I dared you kiss the greasy, dirty, yucky glass and YOU DID. Good times, good times.

I love you both, my favourite October babies <3

A lil' somethin' somethin' I found on Tumblr,
-
"Lollipops turn into cigarettes. The innocent ones turn into sluts. Homework goes in the trash. Mobile phones are being used in class. Detention becomes suspension. Soda becomes vodka. Bikes become cars. Kisses turn into sex. Remember when getting high meant swinging on the playground? When protection meant wearing a helmet? When the worst things you could get from boys were cooties? Dad’s shoulders were the highest place on earth and mum was your hero? Your worst enemies were your siblings. Race issues were about who ran the fastest. War was only a card game. And the only drug you knew was cough medicine. When wearing a skirt didn’t make you a slut. The most pain you felt was when you skinned your knees, and goodbyes only meant until tomorrow? And we couldn’t wait to grow up"

My mom told me that my auntie's house in the Philippines was hit pretty bad by the flood.
The 2nd floor of the 2 storey townhouse in Manila was completely flooded.
The water was pretty deep. It levelled with my cousin chin, who is a 6 footer.

All the photos, the memories were taken with it. They couldn't even salvage the fridge.
My cousins and my auntie had to waddle and swim to get to the house.
They sent my grandfather to the hospital. Thank god.

I remember a neighbour caged up their dog opposite the house. I hope they were home or the dog would have drowned.
