Wow, its been hell of a week.
-

Monday, the 25th;

Its break time at college and I'm having lunch with my classmates. The cafeteria is crowded, swarmed with my peers. So I'm walking to the local cuisine store where everyone who wants so save up on cash go to. Its much cheaper than San Francisco Coffee, thats 2 stores away. But I gotta admit, I did give in to temptation. Sin tastes good when its in a hot coffee cup early in the morning.

-
So anyway, as I'm walking I feel someone poke me in the side.
Now, it's common knowledge among some of my classmates that I will squeal and jump.
So I turn around, ready to punch one of the boys and I see tiny little Sulekha staring back at me.
And next to her, Ashqinn and Chermaine.
I screamed.

Thats's the second time on a Monday that I got a surprise like that. 2 weeks ago, Mark did the same thing. (:

It was so nostalgic to just sit down with them and;
talk.
-
God I miss high school rehat time.

Ashqinn bought these adorable TEAL(my favourite color) trinket boxes from India. When I opened the large box, there was a small box inside. And when I opened the smaller box, there was ANOTHER smaller box inside that.

Thanks Ash, I love it :D

They reminded me of little Russian dolls.

Thursday, the 28th;
I was fidgety the whole day waiting for my 1 hour break in the middle of classes.
I kept checking my phone for the time every 5 minutes.
Was so excited to have lunch with Ash and Sue again.
True, I did see them only 3 days ago but in my time, thats way to long.
I'm so used to having them around everyday.
I think the suckiest thing is that whenever I have something important to tell them, I have to wait before I see them.
We ate at this funky place called My Signature across campus. I had butter chicken rice and it was goooood.
--
Me: Mine is really good. Do you want to try some?? Then I won't feel so bad when I take some of yours :p
--
You can say I had a Sulekha Ashqinn overdose that day. Cause they came over to my place when classes were over. I like this kind of overdose. It makes me high. I gave them their presents which were way long overdue.
-
I've always had this thing whenever someone goes to India and they ask me what I want from there, without fail I will say,
I WANT A WHITE ELEPHANT.
-
It all started when my dad went to India a couple years ago and he asked. That was the first most random thing to pop in my head.
Last month when Mallini went to India, I told her, I WANT MY WHITE ELEPHANT.
But she didn't come back with one.
-
Sulekha on the other hand, did. :D :D :D
She got me this tiny adorable white elephant made of seashells(which I thought was incredibly creative and ingenious). It's now sitting on my bedside table.
-
We fooled around with my Mum's brand new Sony DSLR. 10.2 megapixels baybee. So, what do you get when you put a group of crazy girls with a camera? I'll show you.

I love Nylon Magazine,
I love Megan Fox.

4 and a half hours goes pretty quickly and they were out by 9.30.
And I was all alone again :(
"YOU KNOW MITHHH MEEE" ;]

Monday, January 11, 2010

So our Biology lesson just ended; and
I'm walking up to the cafeteria when I see a familiar looking boy; Krithan talking to another familiar looking boy; Michael.
And infront of him, I see another familiar looking boy with a distinct haircut; Jonathan's signature box hair.
I walk further, knowing who would be sitting next to him; the boy with the megawatt smile.

I must have looked like a complete fool infront of the whole college. I felt my cheeks hurting and I knew I was smiling like an idiot.

It was so nice to see him today (:
My break was only half an hour though, didn't get to spend that much of time with him.

I have an hour break tomorrow from 12.30-1.30.
I'm just saying.

House: You sure you want to know? If it makes it any easier, I’m going to tell you anyway.

Whitney: We want to know.[House looks at the chart, saying nothing]

Geoff: What does it say?

House: Don’t leave. [He leaves, looking serious]

[House comes back]

Geoff: Been waiting here for six hours. Am I the father or not?

House: No. But, she also didn’t cheat on you. Normally, sperm meets egg, DNA meets DNA, goes back to her place. Cells divide. Nine months later, joy is bundled. That’s normally. Abnormally, an egg could have two naturally occurring gene mutations that don’t naturally occur together. Spontaneous calcium spike could prep the egg for fertilization without sperm and a division mistake could let the egg split up without ever needing male DNA at all. Parthenogenesis. A baby without a daddy. In humans it’s only ever been theorized, but it was never proved. Until now. Mommy, baby. Your daughter has only maternal DNA. I personally checked this five times. In seven months you will have… a virgin birth. [Geoff is overcome] Merry Christmas.

I love Sundays.
I would spend my Sunday afternoons curled up in my comfortable IKEA quilt with a good book.
Or a magazine.
Or a phone call to a certain boy that'll last for hours.
I love Sundays.

Merry Christmas everybody (:
-
I'm sure everyone has opened their presents by now.
Stuffed themselves silly with chocolate pudding, devoured a turkey, got flushed on port and played with Christmas crackers till their ears cannot stop ringing.
No?
Only me then.
Has anyone 'accidentally' and 'coincidentally' gotten lucky under a certain mistletoe?
Not me :(
Don't worry, who needs Christmas for that?

So the night we've been waiting for had finally arrived; high school prom.
It was an unforgettable night, filled with
extreme insufficient funds;
(almost) wardrobe malfunctions;
walking around in 4.5 inched stilettoes,

having the time of our lives.
-
As you can see, I'm the least dressed up.
Refused to wear any of those normal sparkly bejewelled long gowns.
So not my thing.
So I just opted for a simple LBD, and paired it with super hot red lipstick.

Even Ian's shoes were more dressed up than I was.
They had tiny ties.
-
-
Mallini looks so pretty here. You were working the peacock color, girrrl ;]
- This girl has stuck by me through thick and thin.
I love you blondeh.
-
-
-

Nabilaaaaa; have known her ever since we were wearing tiny dark blue primary uniforms. She shifted to boarding school in Form 1. Haven't seen her since until prom. She's still so tinyyyyy.

-

"I like you alot lot, think your really hot, hot."
-
-
Ashqinn; We doodle Mexican men during Chemistry lessons and run around school during Sejarah. My last years of high school would be a drag without her.
-
-
Lauren; my fellow flipfler founder *inside thing*
-
-

Kimberly; the Japanese-fied fanatic.
-
-Michael; the angel of the bunch
-
--
-
In the middle of it, Mark and I got restless and started making faces for the camera.
-
-
-
The notorius three;
What would I do without you guys?

Let me tell you what it’s really about. High School Musical is about this group of boys who are all being molested by the basketball coach, who is Zac Efron’s dad. It’s about them struggling to cope with this molestation. And they have these little girlfriends, who are their beards. Oh, and somehow there’s music involved.Megan Fox

you know you got it good when your boyfriend drops his plans
in a heartbeat to keep his girlfriend company when he found out she was all alone in Bangsar.

i walked for 14 hours yesterday trying to look for a dress to wear for prom.
my feet were aching so badddddd.
good news is i found a dress, but it's really simple one.
nothing fancy and long with beads and sparkles and bows.
because i don't do beads,sparkles and bows.
i'm not much of a girly girl as you can tell.
i just hope i pull the look off on the 17th.
cross my fingers.

oh my god,
this is it.

Saturday, November 14, 2009

My grandfather's funeral was this morning.
I didn't attend.
The funeral was far,far away.
Across the South China Sea.
In the Philippine islands.
-
I did not attend because my SPM was 10 days away the day he passed away.
I was already on the verge of an emotional breakdown before it.
When my mother told me about what happened, I was shocked.
I was very sad. But I wasn't upset because he passed away.
But I was sad because I never got to know him.
So I went to my room and lied down on the floor, staring into the ceiling.
I do that sometimes to clear my head.
-
I wanted to for the funeral.
I was planning to.
-
My mother told me she didn't want to stress me out.
So she said I could just forego it.
-
So I did.
Cause I knew if I went, I would be so disoriented in a foreign country;
completely forget what was going on here;
get upset when I saw my aunties and grandmother and cousins cry for the first time;
and just BE in that emotionally stressful environment.
-
So I did,
not go.
-
My mother flew off on Monday night and my father left on Tuesday night.
I've been alone, all week in this house.
Not exactly how I'd expect to experience my first week alone in this house.
Not exactly how I'd expect to spend the last 10 days before SPM starts.
-
I've kept my guard up as much as I could,
to not get upset because of this unfortunate event;
and to not get distracted.
-
But I'll admit, I did crack many times.
-
Mark surprised me yesterday on my doorstep with bunkus-ed maggi goreng.
That cheered me up.
I really needed that.
Thank you (:

So here's to you Dr. Reynaldo Roman,
I'll always regret the fact I never got to know you,
but I want to thank you for raising this colorful bunch of people I call my aunties, uncle and mother.

Goodbye Lolo.

"I just met this 5 foot 7 guy who’s just my type.
I like the way he’s speaking;
his confidence is peaking.
Don’t like his baggy jeans but I'mma like what’s underneath it."
